Peter Janow is a Lifelong Long Islander resident raised in Cold Spring Harbor. He attended Boston College and the University of San Diego before attaining the rank of Major in the Marine Corp and becoming a Pilot and International Affairs Officer. Major Janow (ret) is currently Co-founder of One Solution Consulting, Adjunct Professor teaching Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Operations Management, Project Management and Organizational Behavior at Stony Brook University, and Executive Director of the environmental group, CAUC ( Coalition Against an UnSound Crossing). He is an avid Conservationist and volunteers for US Fish and Wildlife Service, Save the Sound, The Nature Conservancy and Friends of the Bay. Peter will discuss environmental, economic and other issues that need to be considered along with plans to build a major Bridge/Tunnel complex that would span Connecticut to the North Shore of Nassau County, Long Island.
