Ellen Kamhi Ph.D., RN, AHG-RH, AHN-BC interviewed Kourtney Sims M.D., F.A.C.O.G., N.C.M.P. and discussed her mission to spread her message of holistic and integrative women’s health.
About Dr. Kourtney
Dr. Kourtney Sims was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. She received her undergraduate training from Xavier University of Louisiana and Tulane Medical School. She completed her OB/Gyn training at University of Texas.
Dr. Kourtney is currently board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and a certified practicing Menopause Specialist by the North American Menopause Society. She has received education in Clinical Herbalism from Dr. T. LowDog and is a member of the American Herbalist Guild. She has also a member of the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation for Health Professionals, and has completed training via the Institute of Functional Medicine.
Dr. Kourtney is an advocate for holistic and integrative women’s health. She is on a mission to spread her message of holistic and integrative women’s health which she does through her health education site Holistic School of Harmony and Health.
