The 2019 Symposium Committee is thrilled to present From Plants to People: The Art and Science of Clinical Herbalism. This year’s theme brings herbal practice from the intellectualism of plant life to the beauty of customizing that inherent wisdom to the individual. While in the urban setting of Maryland, come prepared to learn from a variety of speakers and share your own experiences as we contribute to the collective body of herbal knowledge.
This year’s Certificate Track is focused on Clinical Assessment in Herbal Practice. Learn more about how you can earn a certificate here.
Ellen Kamhi PhD, RN, AHG, AHN-BC will present:
Infertility: Clinical Assessment in Herbal Practice
Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2:30 PM
One of my greatest joys as a clinician is to welcome babies born to couples who have had challenges conceiving. By focusing on specific assessment techniques such as the energetics, nutrient and hormone testing, along with lesser known assessments including the darkfield microscope, ‘saliva fern test’, mucous test, and the Sympto-Thermal Method we can create natural protocols for enhancing fertility and conception. This same information can also be used for natural family planning!
