The Basics of Herbal Medicine [Class 2 – Botany & Botanical Nomenclature] (Online)

This class, offered by nurse and herbalist Ellen Kamhi, RN, is designed to offer flexibility for beginning or advanced herbal students. Use this series of classes to ignite your inspiration towards better health with practical plant-based tools. Feel free to attend any one class on an individual basis, or all four of the classes in the series. Now offered ONLINE!
Join nurse and herbalist Ellen Kamhi for an empowering and enriching journey into basic herbal medicine. Attend any one of the four workshops as a drop-in course, or attend the entire series for a discount. Practitioners wishing to receive Continuing Education Units must attend the full series, pay the CEU processing fee, and complete all assignments.
This class meets for four Saturdays over a four month period, from 9:30-11 am. The class will be live with the other participants and the instructor in real time. It will be interactive with question and answer sessions.
The instructor will send a Call-in number via email the day before class, along with links to Power Points and other learning tools that we will use as instructional materials used during class. If you miss a class, you can make it up anytime before the end of the course, by calling into the recording of the class. Assignments can be emailed to instructor. Capstone Herbal Preparation Project will need to be ‘snail mailed’ to instructor. All attendees who complete the full series and submit all assignments will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Florida School of Holistic Living.
